What sort of smell do you look for in a fragrance/cologne/perfume?

Something understated. Not too strong.What sort of smell do you look for in a fragrance/cologne/perfume?
Light, vanilla or fruit kind of thing..


I hate those uber strong flowery, 80 year old lady perfumes. YUCK!


I just sneezed thinking about it.

Something foody. I'm very attracted to things that include ';cake';, ';chocolate';, ';vanilla'; or ';cotton candy'; in their scent description.
Fruity, seductive, sophisticated and fun.
I like sweet scents with a touch of musk or spice. I look for fragrances with the scent note vanilla.
something that is fresh and exotic...
citrusy.
