Some people try to cover up smoking with perfume so you are combining the two in your mind as one scent. I think I do the same thing. A familiar gal came in to the office with a familiar smokey perfume smell and then as she leaves says that she quit smoking a year ago- then I realized that it was only her perfume I smelled, and it surprised me.I have allways noticed most of our Perfume-scents have very similar kind of smell to Tobacco.Anyone too?
You're saying that perfume and tobacco smell alike? I don't think you're going to get a lot of affirmative answers on that. That said, I think that tobacco and perfume both stink, so in that sense you're right on! But the smells are definitely very distinct from one another.
Um, I wear perfume and it doesn't smell like smoke. Maybe you smoke and you're just confused....
I think there might be some crossed wires somewhere in the smell part of your brain. Perfume is from flowers!
If you are a smoker (or an ex-smoker) perhaps you equivocate the scent of perfume with tobacco???
